Soft Skills Training Programs

APSI offer a (2) two day Soft-Skills workshops as a value add to our training programs.  Our philosophy is that career development is irrelevant if you don’t possess key soft skills.  As a staffing service provider, we understand how important this critical skill is to the corporate customer and our training students.  It is the soft skills that marry the technical abilities to the right business environment. 

 Our boot camps will provide a recruiters perspective on Career Mapping, Establishing Career Goals, Workforce Positioning, Business Communications, Interviewing and Resume Writing.  Our goal is to empower, engage and educate each student of their employment potential in today’s competitive market.

 Soft skills are disappearing each day in our technical society.  Many experts say that soft skills are becoming a thing of the past because we don’t focus on them.  Internet chat rooms, emails and other forms of electronic communication have depleted our ability to verbally communicate.   We aim to bridge the gab in our boot camp by sharing our industry knowledge with our students.   We want each student to take charge of their career by embracing soft skills as a new learned talent.

Corporate Businesses and Recruiting Agencies understand how important the soft skills are to the growth of our economy.  Without a strong understanding of your soft skill strength and weakness, you loose your competitive advantage in the workforce.  APSI’s Soft Skill Boot camps are the training programs that will assist the student understand his or her weaknesses and capitalize on the strengths.  We will introduce several courses that highlight areas that need improvement, provide critical feedback, perform live interviewing practice and help identify short and long-term goals.

Program Design

APSI Soft Skill Boot camp is designed to assist students prepare for the workforce.  This course provides participants industry inside knowledge, mentorship, training and hands-on application.  Each student that successfully completes the program will be equipped with the knowledge and capability to set their goals, map their careers, interview with confidence and get that job or promotion.

Each course will equip the graduates with the knowledge to begin or extend their careers in the workforce.

Soft Skill Boot camp Course work

Class course work, instruction and certificates are provided by industry experts with over 14 years of experience with personnel and personnel management.  Each instructor will be an expert in recruiting solutions, interviewing criteria, corporate communications and career placement assistance.  This course is a two day classroom, and hands-on lab program.  (See course description for more details)
